Synopsis
When my adopted daughter Lily vanished, my family accused me of driving her away. They strapped me to an untested memory-extraction machine to find her. Lily’s memories laid bare her three years of theft, framing and conspiracy. They believed me at last — but it was too late. I woke to my sobbing mother, kneeling father and red-eyed brother begging for my gaze. Confused, I only asked, “Who are you?” As they fell apart, the long-missing Lily returned.
