Synopsis
After ten years of marriage, Lin Mei and Zhang Lei found themselves constantly arguing over buying a house and their struggles to conceive a child. Lin Mei grew addicted to live streams, captivated by the sweet talk of a streamer known as ‘Brother Feng’, while Zhang Lei was moved by the gentle nature of a passenger named Weiwei. Both were ultimately deceived and scammed out of their money, leading their relationship to devolve into mutual suspicion and a bitter fight over divorce. It wasn’t until the scams were exposed, some of their money was recovered, and Lin Mei suffered an unexpected miscarriage that the couple finally came to their senses. They set aside their grievances, candidly admitted their faults, and eventually reconciled. In the end, they welcomed a child of their own and found lasting happiness in the quiet rhythm of their ordinary life.
